Answer: The Square Slot Cutter was designed to cut through drywall incredibly quickly. It may be able to work on plaster and lath, but it will take much more effort than normal. We do not recommend using the Square Slot Cutter this way, but if you have experience cutting through plaster and lath using a multi-tool, it could work.
